About Me
As an Arizona native, Christa Jayne – aka DesertCJ – grew up between Scottsdale, North Phoenix and Fountain Hills. Some of her earliest memories include exploring the untouched desert north of Rio Verde, camping at the base of the Grand Canyon and hiking the many mountainous trails around the Valley. Needless to say, she appreciates the desert lifestyle and all it has to offer.
Christa also has ties to the Pacific Northwest, dating back to high school when she visited Bellingham, Washington for a water sports camp. She fell in love with the contrasting environment of the PNW and decided to attend Seattle Pacific University. After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Christa stayed in Seattle where she lived in the city’s Queen Anne neighborhood for nearly twenty years. While there she practiced real estate, became a top seller for the national furniture brand Design Within Reach, worked on the business operations side of the fashion industry and was an Executive Assistant to some of the top names in the technology sector. In 2017 she returned to the Valley and went on to work for Zillow Group, managing the Zillow Offers’ Phoenix headquarter office while helping expand the brand to over 20 markets throughout the United States. Christa couldn’t be happier living in one of Phoenix’s most thriving neighborhoods, within walking distance of The Brokery’s Arcadia office.
Christa’s passion for real estate stems from her love of interior design, architecture, art, and the opportunity each of us has to create a space reflective of our personality within the home. She understands the needs of those relocating to Arizona, especially those from the PNW, and has a successful track record in providing guidance to individuals and families looking for the perfect home or investment property in the Valley of the Sun.
